Who we are
The Knowledge & Professional Ecosystem for the Built World
Where facility management, commercial real estate and workplace professionals stay informed, build relationships and advance their careers.
What is Osmos
Osmos is a knowledge platform for the commercial real estate and facility management industry — the people who decide where work happens, how it is built, and how it is kept running.
Why we exist
Our industry moves on relationships and on information that rarely gets written down. Deals, fit-outs, energy retrofits, vendor decisions: the reasoning behind them lives in a handful of heads and is lost the moment those people move on.
Osmos is where that thinking gets published.
What we do
- News & Articles — a working desk covering leases, launches, policy and people across Indian commercial real estate and facility management.
- Blogs & White Papers — practitioner writing and long-form research, contributed by members and reviewed by our editorial team.
- Podcasts — conversations with occupiers, operators and advisers.
- Networking & Events — closed-door roundtables and city meet-ups.
- Academy — professional courses, opening once international accreditation is complete.
Who it is for
Heads of workplace and real estate, facility management leaders, developers, project and fit-out teams, and the advisers who work alongside them.
The architecture
Six pillars, one ecosystem
Osmos is not six sections of a website. Each pillar feeds the others — an article points you to the research behind it, the roundtable where it is being argued, and the roles it creates.
Who we serve
The professionals who run the built world
“The built world” is a wide phrase, so here is the territory Osmos actually covers: the people who plan, lease, build, operate and transform workplaces and commercial environments.
- Facility management leaders
- Commercial real estate professionals
- Workplace and occupier teams
- Projects and fit-out specialists
- Employers and recruiters
- Students, consultants and academics
The people
Written by practitioners, not a newsroom
Members publish under their own name, reviewed by the Osmos editorial desk.
All contributors →Where we are
Bengaluru, building outward
Osmos started in Bengaluru, the densest concentration of grade-A office and integrated facility management work in India. The problems here — energy load, vendor governance, fit-out economics, the gap between landlord and occupier — are the problems everywhere. We are writing them down here first.
The reasoning behind a lease, a retrofit or a fit-out usually lives in one person's head. Osmos is where it gets written down.
