AI is starting to reshape portfolio strategy before it reshapes the office itself. In a Censuswide survey of 1,000 US and UK executives for International Workplace Group, 60% said AI makes predicting office space needs harder over the next two years, and 73% said technological change makes them less willing to commit to long leases. A separate JLL survey of 2,200 C-suite leaders found only 15% have progressed beyond initial AI deployment — but most are already modelling what it means for their real estate.
